Introduction

Tournaments are your main chance to test yourself against opponents in structured combat and win more cards, credits, and other prizes. Your tournament record is the main statistic other players use to judge your skill level.

R&R features two types of tournaments:

Elimination

Elimination tournaments have a period of qualification - usually a week of round robin - followed by a scheduled elimination round. The top players from the qualifying round are seeded in the elimination tournament. Prizes are awarded by round (quarter-finalist, semi-finalist, champion, etc.).

Round Robin

Round robin tournaments take place over a period of time with no specific event scheduled at the end. You compete against a random selection of opponents and your win / loss record and final point scores are used to determine how you place and what type of prize you win.

We will also continue to come up with new ideas for events - including species vs. species, expert only, newbie only, etc.

Levels

There are 3 levels of tournament. If you a level 1 tournament, you are promoted to level 2 and can compete in level 2 and 3 events. Anyone can compete in a level 3 tournament. This helps ensure you're always up against players at your skill level.
