Battle Tip: Using the Storage Row & Discarding

Using the Storage Row is critical to your success in Rise & Ruin. Any and all Defensive cards, as well as all of your Modifiers, can be stored in this row by simply clicking and dragging down during any turn. Storage here is crucial as it allows you to have a better draw from your deck, giving you more options to plan out your offensive and a better chance at managing your Mana.

Depending on your personal strategy, it is important to keep a constant flow of cards into your playable hand. Discarding is the key to accomplishing this. Ideally, unless you’re playing with a carefully tuned deck that uses every single card each round, you should discard at every given chance. Keep the best 2 Mana card you have, for example, and discard the lesser card. Keep the best costless Defense card, and discard the lesser.

While it might be tempting to simply play the deck you’re dealt, using the Storage Row and Discarding will give you the advantage necessary to beat and dominate more advanced opponents.
