Week 6 of Open Beta is officially wrapping up!

This week we held another great batch of GM Events where lots of rewards were handed out, and a number of players distinguished themselves from the rest of the pack.

Additionally, there was a wonderful turnout for Friday Night Fights #6 with nearly 2 dozen players attending over the course of the event, which we extended by 30 minutes due to the epic fun and fury being had.

A slight majority (29%) said 4-6 PM EST; we will be doing our best to host more events during this timeframe.

This Week's Featured Card (and Jokes!)
On Wednesday, we featured the card "Texas Ranger" and asked for your favorite Chuck Norris joke.

Draxom, masteraramil, raidertamer, and LOBO earned themselves a card for sharing their favorite round-house kicking laugh.

Here's raidertamer's submission: "A blind man once stepped on Chuck Norris' shoe. Chuck replied, "Don't you know who I am?, I am Chuck Norris!" The mere mention of his name cured this man blindness. Sadly the first, last, and only thing this man ever saw, was a fatal roundhouse delivered by Chuck Norris."

This Week's Trivia Challenge
Trivia Challenge #6 was based on a storyline we posted in three parts this week, "Third Watch," "Echoplex," and "Breach": What feature do you think we're introducing tonight at Friday Night Fights?

The answer was: A new playable world (battlefield)! The Abyssal Hive!

2 very keen players were able to answer prior to Friday Night Fights : Cerdric and masteraramil. They have each earned 2 additional Modifier cards. Good work guys!

This Week's Mini-Tournament
Saturday we held our first "mini-tournament" called "King of the Battle Rating." There was a small turnout, by the overwhelming response was to institute this as a weekly event, until more formal tournaments are implemented. TheStalker was uncontested and won an Intro Pack without even having to fight - players with a Battle Rating ove 3.5+ are encouraged to show up next week and represent their bracket!

The winners for each Battle Rating bracket were as follows:

• 2.5-2.9 = LOBO
• 3.0-3.4 = Slip
• 3.5-4.0+ = TheStalker

These players will defend their title next week! Show up and stake your claim in Rise & Ruin history!
