R&R is a turn based, stragetic type of battling experience. While it seems to be attracting players in the mid to early 20s, it could be easily enjoyed by players 10-99. It is not just a repetitive arcade style game, but there is strategy and thinking involved in every step. Making good decisions and making them quickly both are needed to be successful. R&R game play has amazing video renditions of the game action. It can be difficult not to get sucked into watching the vivid animations and lossing track of the game play as a result. R&R character and card graphics are very professional looking. Even a card that may not be too useful to play is hard to get rid of, especially if it is unique to your playing deck.

It can be brutal at first, trying to take in all the aspects of the game and game play, while going against stronger and more experienced players. Don't expect to win one your first attempt at play, or even your 10th. This could be a turn off to some people, as we all love instant gratification, but I think new features to level the playing field and adding battles versuses game "bots", might alleviate these negative initial feelings. To combat that, there is a friendly staff as well as some friendly players, that will play at less than 100% and act as mentors to allow newer players to get a feel for the game, without them becoming too overwhelmed. Peronally I did not have many of these advantages when I started. I took my lumps, but what kept me coming back was the desire to prove to myself that I could overcome the disadvantage of being newer and weaker and finally beating someone. Once your get that test for blood, you are pretty much hooked after that.

I think one of the best aspects of the game is the ability to customize your character(s), and tailor them to your look and style. The ability to create them with various color schemes allows your to create a themed army and to build your own in game story. The ability to train them in the way that you see fit, allows you to have your characters perform in the way that is most beneficial to you and your way of thinking and towards the in game esources that you acquire.
