"Leveling the Battlegrounds"

Snykus knew his brother was plotting, no, scheming up a plan for revenge in retribution for their father’s intervention. None of the brother’s rage quite matched Snykus’ on the matter though, seeing as it was all but certain his jix`Su would have been the victors and he the Ruler of the Universe.

All that aside, Snykus saw Varken’s measured patience to formulate his plan as an opportunity to act first and blindside his brothers and father. Unknown to the other Rulers, Snykus had begun channeling low-levels of unharnessed Mana directly to the Abyssal Hive. It was his desire for the Hive and its Queen to take note of the gift and use it to amplify their weapons on the battlefield, giving they alone the edge needed to secure his throne.

However, as these things go, Snykus’ lack of foresight and his quick jump-to-action betrayed him in the end. The amount of Mana was too great, despite Snykus’ efforts, for the Abyssal Hive to store, and so, slowly, the Mana spread throughout all inhabited lands, ultimately lending great advantages to all warriors, everywhere, today.
