Understanding the Cards

Each card displays the information you'll need to know how to use it in battle. For example, each element of this card gives you a clue on how best it can be used to defeat your oppoennt.

The title of the card.

Sword Icon

This icon tells you the base skill of the card. In this case, the sword icon means the card is based on the Handheld skill. If you want to get more damage out of this card that's the skill you'll have to train. The other skill icons can be seen on the Skills & Attributes page of Character Management.

This is how much damage can be done by this card. Note that you won't get anywhere near this much damage from the card until you train up your skills.

Blue Mana Circles

The mana icons indicate how many mana points it will cost you to play the card. Note that mana is dynamic and changes according to your skill level.

Crossed Swords Icon

This icon indicates the card type, in this case an Attack card. A defense card is represented by a Shield icon and a modifier card has a vortex-like swirl. The card type tells you when and how you can play the card.

That's it! Of course the game gets a lot more complex as you learn the intricacies, strategy, etc., but this is enough to get you started.
