Pronunciation: jix-Soo’

In a Few Words: Long, lithe, angular, ornately-lethal insects adept at underwater life

Base Element: Water

Base Appearance: Shell

Face: The jix’Su are an insectoid race with a slightly alien appearance. Their heads are small for their body size and generally smooth. The facial features are small, concentrated, and almost indiscernible – although they have both eyes and a mouth. Their skulls can range from small and round to long and thin. Some jix’Su develop ornamental ridges around the base of their skulls. Differentiation comes from skull size and colouration.

Body: The bodies of the jix’Su are very long and angular. The arms and legs are lithe, segmented, and tend to be folded close to the body. The forearms of the jix’Su extend past the elbow to become blade-like appendages. Their bodies are covered with solid, smooth, segmented shells. As with the faces, the bodies can be various colours but all jix’Su are particularly proud of their unique ornamentation.

Clothing: jix’Su clothing is very similar to their body types. It tends to be solid and smooth – almost an extension of their natural shells. As the jix’Su are very vain, their clothing is made almost exclusively of high-end, polished metals and shells. Sleek, mean, and sharp.
