Who Owns a Card?

Are cards tied to a user or to a character? If I win or buy cards, can I swap them between my characters?

Who Owns a Card

Hi Kilby,

Good question!

The cards you buy or win are tied to your user account. The good thing is that any of the characters you create can use the cards in your inventory.

Now, each character has their own strengths and weaknesses. So it makes the most sense to build custom decks for each character.

If you want to know anything else just ask away.

Didn't want to be evil

DeveloperModeratorBeta Tester

Yah... We thought it would be kind of greedy / evil to make cards applicable only to one character.

We may do that in the future for some really, high-end, over-the-top cards, but for now they can all be used by all your characters.

Of course it doesn't make sense to do that... Given how important your characters skills are it makes more sense to trade cards to boost your main character than it does to keep cards in reserve for your alts.

Good Advice

I reading more and more about the strategy in your game guide. You have some good advice Tal. We have to match those skills to the cards. I like mixing it up with strategy and cards.

Card Collection

I like the idea of one card collection that I can move between all my avatars. I wont feel bad experimenting with decks that way.

Deck Experimenting

DeveloperModeratorBeta Tester

Hi Grotesques. First off, very cool username. I agree with you, it's all about experimenting. You have to find that right mix of attack, defense and modifier cards and then balance them with your best skills and attributes. Check out this brief post or the strategy article in the Game Guide for some more information.

Takes Time

Anyone who's ever played a CCG knows that it takes time to create good decks. You experiment a little, check out what other players do and learn from your opponents when they win. After a while you start to get the hang of it. the perfect deck is right around the corner.

Good advice Merlin! After a bit of time you start to get used to the particular mechanics of a CCG. Check out my post called Battle Tip - Balanced Decks and Learning the Basics to get some more pointers.

Don't forget you can create

DeveloperModeratorBeta Tester

Don't forget you can create multiple decks, each geared for a specific skill/character if you wanted to.

Got a character with most skill points in Handheld attacks? Then focus a deck with lots of Handheld attack cards.

your best deck

in all TCGs you can build the perfect deck and win repeatedly until 1 person comes and beats you, then you add a card, remove a card a few times get get the perfect deck again, until someone beats you...nasty little cycle that one
