Resolved: Client Hangs on Windows 7

Currently the game does not always complete loading on Windows 7*, due to a sound compatibility issue. We are looking into possible solutions and workarounds and hope to have a resolution before Windows 7 goes live. This also affects both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7.

*The game DOES work for some people with Windows 7. So cross your fingers and try it out!

With the current release versions of Windows 7, Rise & Ruin should work without issue, using the latest 3DVia plugin.

If you encounter issues, please ensure you have the latest Windows Updates, correct Windows 7 drivers for your graphics card, and you have made sure to Force Hardware in the 3DVia player.
