Question about reporting a bug

I had an issue in a game tonight so after eventually finding the report a bug link, I wanted to send one.
I clicked on the "dump log" button, and it froze my session for a while - fine. That's what you said it would do.
Then I hit the ` key as the instructions said....and nothing happened. At all. Even after many tries.
So I was unable to get a copy of the logs to include in a report, so I never filed it yet.
Also, I am not sure about filling in the system info piece of my account, since I could be playing from any one of 3 different computers. I realize it's useful for you guys to know, but would it be easier to allow us to put that on the bug report instead of trying to read it from our account info, when it may not be correct?

Since I just overwrote the first post with a different issue..I'll repost here what my initial issue was so this thread makes a little more sense.
Basically I was in a game, and thought I used no mana in the first 2 turns, but in turn 3 suddenly found myself without any. I don't recall seeing the mana count go down until turn 3 when I wanted to use a big card, and suddenly had none.
Plus I couldn't find the bug report link so posted the issue here. Then came the original second post:

Mana information
Hey - no worries, Beej.
Here's some information on Mana:
You begin each battle with 3 Mana. Each round you regain one Mana.
You can only have a maximum of 5 Mana.
It sounds like you played a 3 Mana card and wiped out your current Mana pool. However, it's possible there is a bug, so we'll definitely keep an eye out for that.
Basically, you could play a 1 Mana card every round and never run out of Mana. The majority of the defense cards cost no mana, and there are lots of powerful 1 Mana attack cards out there. Building an ideal deck will contain lots of these and a few powerful attack cards to combine with modifiers.

I don't recall seeing the mana count go down between turns 1 and 3, just suddenly none in turn 3. It's possible I used a mana rich card but don't recall doing so - they were pretty weak cards which I thought had a 0 cost that I played to start with so I could build up mana.
Obviously I am tired so maybe that's it. Also, I just overwrote my original post with a new issue XD now this set of posts will be confusing haha. time for bed here!
issue with log files
I'm also having this issue, where after dumping the log and pressing the tilde key nothing happens.
