was thinking maybe you guys could make finishing move cards :) where when someone is down to really low power and u use it you could bust out a crazy finishing move :)

I love it. It reminds me of the finishing moves in Mortal Combat. Are you thinking there would be a mana cost for a finishing move? Maybe it's a card that you can only play once and then it's out of your deck for the remainder of the match?

that would be cool either way... heck if its a one use card that can be used anytime maybe we could get some projectiles like fireballs or lasers or something ... now i going out there but hey why not bring it up....maybe u could add a card that freezez the opponent for 1 turn when played by you ? maybe u could have a card that allows you to reshuffle your deck without taking the penalty ? just some other ideas but might as well put em all in here :)

Like, a card would be red (and unusable) unless your opponent has say %15 health left.

And, I might as well suggest this while I'm here:
Maybe the Vedyn could be able to "Meddle". If you're a Vedyn, and not in a battle, you could meddle with other battles. Some ideas for meddling could be giving a health boost, make a player lose a turn, give a player mana, allow a player to reshuffle their whole hand, etc.

Hey Geb,

I like the idea of only being able to play the 'finishing move' card when the opponent has reached a minimum health level. The logic works with the purpose of the card.

As you said, it should be unusable (red) until the minimum health level is reached. A player who draws that card should also be allowed to move it to the bottom storage row until the timing is right.

Hey Guys. Great ideas!

There are the types of new features that we can do in a week or so (like the New Math) and the types of features we can do in a few months (like totally new categories of cards). It depends upon how much we have to change the internal logic of the game. The finishing move cards fall into the every few months category. :)

That said, we have the full intention of implementing the (good ;) ) ideas that come through these boards. So keep it up! We do listen.

We have a couple of new features to release this week / early next and that will be the end of our first New Feature phase. When that's over we're going to go into a Bug Fixing phase to deal with some of the outstanding issues. This means that we'll be working to solve some of the isssues preventing people from playing the game (like making it work on Macs) or things that get annoying (like the in-Battle flag not resetting properly all the time).

New Feature Phase = more new content.

Bug Fixing Phase = more players and more stable game.

We'll be bouncing back and forth between these phases until launch.

I like this too. Agreed on the red until certain amount of health. I request one with a Grim Reaper theme just for me! I would even pay for it...
