More suggestions ^^

Been thinking of other ways to balance the game out a bit
aside of removing the lowered mana costs ...

What i came up with was an idea that might be able to get
some balance into the gameplay but i can't really guarantee it.

What if, the lower rated player gets a 10% bonus on his
HP for every 0.1 his rating is lower than the opponents
IF ... the avarage rating of both participants is > 2.9

Since the more experienced players usually end the games
against new players with about 50+% HP left it would
create a chance to end really close.
Furthermore people would have to re-think their choice of
opponent and attacking a 2.5 Rating newbie with your
3.5 Rating charakter wouldn't end in a default win
anymore.
Especially since he'd have twice your HP now and you
might end up losing due to lack of damage in your deck ^^

The following stuff is not really balancing concerd but ...

  • Is there something like a ignore/block/black or friend
    list planned ?
  • I'm also missing an Option to set my status to AFK
so people who do challenge me do not end up bugged
or glitched while i'm afk for 2-5 minutes
  • The /whisper function could need an improvement maybe ^^
would be cool if it could work like in most online games
    /w "name" "text"
  • Maybe add a link to the lobby which leads to the
Skillpoints / Attribute points page when there's some
    to distribute
  • When people challenge someone, the challenger and the
challenged player should get locked for further challenge
requests. It seems like it's possible to bug out if someone
gets challenged by 2 different people.
  • There's no way yet to undo challenges. If you change your
mind for example or notice that the opponent is afk.
  • limit the length of the allowed Usernames ingame.
"TTTTTTTTTTTUTTTTTTTTTTTUTTTTTT" should be too long ^^
  • Something for our newer Players: A button to "reroll"
the Starter Deck they've recieved - works maybe only once
every 48 hours. That way new players who've had bad luck
with their Starter Deck could just try and get a new one
without having to create a new account

gonna update this thread if more stuff comes to my mind.

Thanks again for these suggestions, Raith.

I've passed them along to the development team for their review.

We're working hard right now on some behinds the scene work to make some of these and other ideas a reality.

    Thx alot burdenday,

I've added 2 more points. I'm sure they're already on your
to-do list but just in case.
I also know that most of the points are of a very low
priority so i don't expect them to be implemented soon
but it would still be nice to have them ingame i think.

Some more valuable tips Raith (some we already thought of, but it's nice to have them validated by the player base).

Regarding whisper, what do you think of instead of /w name text we did it like:

    /name text

    ?

    that /name test should also

that /name test should also work.
but as it is currently, you can't whisper anyone you can't
select. So all those people who're already playing can't
    be whispered to.

And ya i thought so that most of the things were obvious
but in case you hadn't had them they'd be listed now ^^
btw. If you want you can just add a [cite] tag around the
ones you've already got / dun need.

ps. that challenge stuff ( point 5 ) should get a
quite high priority since it keeps bugging games
when you challenge someone who's already challenged
and they start playing. Many unpredictable things tend
    to happen in such cases.
