New event Suggestions

After playing for the past few days I have really been thinking about what cool new events we could have and have come up with a few suggestions you guys can take into consideration.

1. Have an event whether its a tournament or something new but have it to where the winner of the event gets the event named after them, i know i would be happy to have a tournament named after me. =)

2. Have an event where everyone plays in their bracket 2.5 to 2.9, 3.0 to 3.4, and 3.5 to 4.0 but instead of elimination style tournament have it be whoever has most wins at the end of event in their bracket is the winner. This will make it not so hard for someone that's on the lower end of bracket and will give them a better chance of winning event. Everyone one calls out their wins and losses at end of game and GM records. Disconnects and quits can be dealt with somehow whether its giving a win for other player or loss for deserter. Bare Bones idea but sounds good to me.

3. Another idea i have is to have an event to where its Ralaks V.S. Puny bugs -"wish i could think of their names now lol"- Whats sounds more fun then teaming up with your allies for an all out war? Or bragging rights for the next week? How i thought we could do this- Simple which ever race has more wins at end of event wins, if teams are uneven we can add a handicap to team with less players or if anyone can think of a better idea for this solution lemme know. Have brackets so its somewhat even and let the battle begin. Have it where players get double points for games, and have the winning race get 2 cards 10 points and bragging rites for the week and have losers get 1 card and 5 points from surviving the onslaught. It seems to me that an all out war between the races and a good reward on top of that would attract many people to the event.

Once again these are bare bones ideas of some possible events and I'm open to any suggestions or ideas anyone has to make these events happen. I plan to put more ideas up as they come to me, let me know what you guys think of them.
