Getting more players to events

The past couple events i have went to have not had a whole lot of players, i realize the game is new and is open beta and with time will get better but i came up with a few ideas to get more people to come and here they are-

1. Bigger rewards, instead of intro packs for winning give out boosters if someone is gonna win 15 cards or 12 cards compared to six, more people will want to test their skills in the events.

2. Make it easier for people who aren't as experienced as others to win events, after all does the best guy in the bracket really need any more cards to kick peoples ass with =)

3. People get confused with the time zones, i realize the events are on the very first page and says times but can be confusing to most people, so i came up with 2 simple solutions first solution would be to add a link to compare someones time zone to RandR's timezone. Second solution which i think is a great idea would be to add a countdown timer on webpage that says exactly how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds left till the event begins.

4. When u log into room have the -message of the day- come up in chat saying what events are happening that day and what events are happening if any the next day.

5. Have other rewards for people during events like a extra modifier for someone who had a great attitude during event, also a consolation prize to whoever got their ass kicked the most. Maybe a card to whoever was most helpful to the other players.

6. Lastly i would have to say have events where alot of skill points are given out, double skill points are cool but the more points people can get the more people we will have playing at higher brackets, and more of a reason for people to come out to event.

I hope these ideas can be taken into consideration by the community and hopefully be used to make the R&R events even bigger and better. I think getting more info to people about the events, adding more skill points for players to even up the brackets, having better rewards and a chance of multiple rewards at events, and finally making it easier for newbies to get cards will be a great combo to get way more people to events.
