Internet Explorer acting like Firefox, in a way.

Interestingly enough, on this laptop that I am using Internet Explorer is not loading the 3Dvia plugin properly, trying twice and saying:

"Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information,"

both times.
Running it in administrative mode allows it to run properly, pretty much exactly the same as Firefox.
However, I cannot do any further testing on this laptop because it is only temporary.
I just thought I'd let you know that this same error is occuring on IE in certain cases and isn't exclusive to FF. (Running latest 32-bit Vista Home Premium SP1, 2GHZ CPU, 3GB of RAM.)
